Dr. Tim Doty

Dr. Tim Doty has been providing therapy services since 2004. He trained at the Graduate School of Professional Psychology in Denver, where he earned a master’s degree in forensic psychology, followed by a doctorate in clinical psychology. His training focused on testing and assessment, court-related and forensic psychological services, couples and family work, and international trauma response. His clinical work has included a juvenile residential setting, a major metropolitan police department as a psychological first-aid responder for victims, providing therapy and assessment to legally-involved clients, working in college counseling centers, and providing services through Christian Family Institute and Oklahoma Psychological Evaluations. He has assisted communities in responding to suicide and wrote a guidebook for faith-based groups regarding suicide prevention. Dr. Doty provides psychological assistance to individuals, couples, and families interested in improving themselves so that they can be the most effective in their family, community, and systems of influence.
Specialties include LGBT+ sensitive treatment and geek-friendly therapy. He offers therapeutic tabletop role-playing games such as D&D.
