Psychological Testing & Evaluation
At Green Country Psychology, our psychological evaluations offer more than just diagnoses—they offer understanding. Grounded in a psychodynamic and trauma-informed framework, our assessments are designed to uncover the full psychological landscape of the individual: cognitive strengths and weaknesses, emotional functioning, behavioral patterns, relational dynamics, and underlying personality structure.
We conduct evaluations across the lifespan—from preschool-aged children to older adults—with attention to developmental context, individual experience, and real-world application.
At Green Country Psychology, we approach testing in a collaborative way to ensure that you and your referrals are receiving the most useful information and feedback
The steps of an evaluation fall into three broad categories:
- Initial Consultation – to understand the questions you want to be answered about your child, yourself, or the circumstances.
- Data Gathering – from a variety of sources: empirically supported psychological tests, direct interview, collateral interviews, observation, computerized testing, objective and projective data, previous assessments, consultations with professionals, review of legal material (when forensic focused).
- Collaborative Feedback– with parents, family, business, clinician, physician, or legal entity requesting the evaluation. Feedback often includes a written psychological evaluation report and often includes verbal feedback with an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification about the findings.
Technology-Enhanced, Clinician-Guided Evaluations

Fast. Precise. Comprehensive.
At Green Country Psychology, we combine clinical expertise with state-of-the-art assessment technology to deliver high-quality psychological evaluations in less time than ever before. By utilizing secure digital platforms (like Psynth), adaptive testing tools, and advanced scoring systems, we are able to streamline the evaluation process—without sacrificing depth, accuracy, or personalization. Our team is a key contributor to an exciting developing technology in Psynth for clinical practices.
Our technology-enhanced assessments allow us to:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations more efficiently
- Offer flexible testing formats (in-person and hybrid when appropriate)
- Rapidly analyze and integrate large amounts of data
- Improve turnaround time for written reports
- Focus more time on clinical interpretation and feedback
While our process is supported by modern tools, the heart of our work remains relational and insight-driven. Every evaluation is guided by a licensed psychologist or supervised resident, ensuring that technology enhances—but never replaces—the clinical judgment and human understanding at the core of psychological testing.

Why Choose Psychological Testing?

People often seek psychological testing when something is unclear or isn’t responding to treatment. Our evaluations are especially helpful when:
- A child is struggling academically or behaviorally
- ADHD or autism is suspected
- Symptoms don’t clearly fit a single diagnosis
- Treatment has stalled or progress is limited
- Legal, educational, or medical decisions require diagnostic clarity
- Personality structure or trauma history may be affecting functioning
Each evaluation is tailored to the referral question and delivered in a way that supports clarity, compassion, and actionable recommendations.
Who We Serve
We provide evaluations for:
- Children (ages 3–12)
- Adolescents (ages 13–18)
- Adults of all ages
- Families, schools, physicians, and legal professionals seeking consultative input
Types of Evaluations We Offer
ADHD Evaluations
We assess attention, impulsivity, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and cognitive patterns using both behavioral and neuropsychological tools. Our approach integrates test results with developmental and relational context to avoid over- or under-diagnosis.
Autism Spectrum Evaluations
Our autism evaluations include standardized observation, caregiver interviews, developmental history, and social-emotional assessment. We assess not only diagnostic criteria but also how neurodiversity impacts daily life, relationships, and emotional functioning.
Learning & Academic Evaluations
These assessments explore intellectual functioning, academic achievement, memory, and processing speed to diagnose learning disorders such as dyslexia or dyscalculia. Findings support IEP or 504 planning and help families advocate for the right supports.
Personality & Emotional Evaluations
We offer in-depth assessments to explore mood, personality structure, trauma response, attachment style, and coping mechanisms. These are often used for treatment planning, differential diagnosis, or understanding chronic relational and emotional challenges.
Diagnostic Clarification
When symptoms are complex, overlapping, or difficult to define, we provide integrative evaluations to differentiate between diagnoses such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD, autism, and personality disorders.
Pre-Treatment & Consultation Evaluations
We conduct evaluations to guide mental health or medical interventions (e.g., trauma treatment planning, surgical clearance, medication initiation, or psychotherapy readiness).
Our Approach

Our evaluations are:
- Clinician-led — You or your child will work directly with a psychologist or supervised resident, not just a technician or software system.
- Comprehensive — We gather information through interviews, testing, behavioral observations, and collateral sources.
- Developmentally informed — We tailor the approach to match the client’s age, background, and psychological needs.
- Context-sensitive — We integrate symptoms with relational history, environmental factors, and emotional development.
- Collaborative — Feedback sessions are offered to ensure understanding, next steps, and clinical integration.
What You Receive
Every client receives:
- A detailed, easy-to-understand written report
